Who we are

VF Events is an event planning and coordination business based in Edmonton, Alberta, founded by Val Fedotova. Val is the contact for questions about information shared with VF Events.

What we collect

The enquiry form collects the information you provide, including your name, email address, phone number, company, event details, services or enhancements of interest, message and how you heard about VF Events. Please do not include sensitive personal information that is not needed for your enquiry.

To help prevent spam and troubleshoot delivery, the website also records submission timing, browser information and a hashed identifier derived from your IP address. Hosting and email services process technical request and delivery information needed to operate and protect their services.

How it is used

Your information is used to respond to your enquiry, arrange a discovery call, discuss your requirements and plan an event you choose to book. It is also used to prevent spam, maintain the website and resolve delivery problems. Your enquiry details are not sold or used for unrelated marketing.

How enquiries are delivered and stored

Website enquiries are sent to VF Events at hello@vf-events.ca, and a confirmation email is sent to the email address you provide. A copy of the enquiry is stored on the website server to help avoid losing requests if email delivery fails. If the website reports a delivery problem, you can contact Val directly by email.

The website and business email use Hostinger services. These services process information as needed to host the website, store enquiries and deliver messages. Processing locations may depend on the service used; contact Val if you would like information about these arrangements.

The website’s public AI-readable pages and tools provide published business information. They do not provide access to submitted enquiries.

How long information is kept

Information is kept for as long as reasonably needed to handle your enquiry, provide any agreed services and meet applicable business or legal requirements. The appropriate period depends on the type of record and its purpose. Contact Val to ask about the retention of your information or to request deletion; some records may need to be retained for business or legal reasons.

Your choices

You can contact Val at hello@vf-events.ca to request access to, correction of or deletion of information you have shared, to withdraw consent where applicable, or to ask a privacy question. Requests are handled subject to applicable requirements and any business or legal reasons for retaining records.

Cookies and browser storage

The website does not currently include analytics or advertising trackers. Browser session storage remembers whether you have seen the opening animation so it does not repeat unnecessarily; this setting does not contain the details you submit in the enquiry form. Hosting services may process technical information needed to operate and protect the website.

This website links to Instagram, TikTok and Chappelle Kitchen Catering. Those websites and services have their own privacy practices.
